Overview

A vital part of caravan-based trade was the caravanserai – small settlements built in the desert to act as resting stops for traders and travelers passing along the established trade routes. These settlements meant that people could travel greater distances and trade more freely.

Take the unique opportunity to see our stunningly recreated Caravanserai with a modern luxury twist, in an authentic desert setting. After your hotel pickup, enjoy a scenic drive in a private air-conditioned vehicle and continue to the Caravanserai camp for the evening's entertainment.

Enjoy traditional Arabian activities such as henna art, palm reading, camel riding, falcon interaction and browse at the traditional souq. Savor a delicious luxury banquet with live BBQ stations, and lounge on cushions to enjoy various different entertainment acts, many of which are traditional to the region, such as belly dancing, Tanura dancing and a daring fire show under the desert stars.

Please include dress code Ex reminding guest to wear boots or sneaker due to the sand would be helpful. Otherwise good food and show.

The atmosphere was simply breathtaking... and my family loved experiencing the sunset, having henna done and seeing the camels and falcon. The food was delicious, and we had fabulous time being entertained by the performers.

The transport was on time per the communication however it brought us to the camp site at 5:00pm and the event started at 6:30pm, that was the only issue we had with the event. The food was excellent and the entertainment good along with the camp site which was well worth the travel time.

A very enjoyable evening, the food was lovely and the entertainment was excellent. The seating arrangement was very comfortable and it was nice to have drinks brought to the table. I wasn’t keen on the sellers coming up to the tables, I’d preferred them to have their stands and we visit if interested, but that’s my personal preference.

The food was good, plenty of choice. The staff were pleasant and location was well set up. Whilst the entertainment was good I would be critical of how they arrived - one at a time in a car that was parked in full view of the stage and left swiftly after their act, no doubt to be whisked off to their next gig. If the comings and goings could be kept behind scene it would have kept the magic alive. Also no fortune teller.
