We had a great time with planet tours. Initially when we booked in, operator did not confirm need for child seat but this was swiftly corrected by our driver Aslam. He took us out to industrial area of Dubai to pick up child seat and from there we went for our safari trip. Aslam was very informative. Provided us with a lot of valuable knowledge about Dubai and life in Dubai. Really appreciate his knowledge. He has lived long time in Dubai and knows what life in Dubai looks like for local person as well what is like for tourists.
Aslam was very careful and gentle on dunnes even tho we had one of our family member pregnant but he made sure it's fun and done in safe manner so again massive thank you to this Gentleman. Camel riding was done in short circle but fun for members of our trip. Sandboarding was fun but equipment could be improved and crash helmets could be added. Unfortunately my daughter has banged her head with the board but wasn't serious. Atv rental is a bit expensive for what it is (driving around in circles for 210aed on desert but my son insisted ).
Meal and show at end of the trip was really nice and traditional. Something worth trying. Thank you for having good trip

Great day! Jameel was very friendly and informative. He gave us lots of information about the UAE which we were unaware of, a great start to the trip. Sand dunes were lots of fun, followed on by quad biking for 200 AED ( worth it). Sandboarding was also available. Many shows and activities at dinner, good choice of food. Highly recommend and thank you to Jameel for a great trip!

My favorite part was that our driver (Jameel) made my experience so much better. He really took the time to talk to us on the way to the dessert. He showed us how beautiful Dubai really is and he also taught us about Dubai’s history. He made the while journey lovely. He made this day the best day on my trip to Dubai.

Best Desert Safari

A unique experience

The cars over the dunes are brilliant; our driver was really kind and polite but also an excellent driver, he was able to have fun with us all while keeping us feeling safe.
The BBQ & Shows are good fun too

It was a good experience: pick up, service, safari, dinner. All fine. Rashid driver is really enjoying his driving, that was fun. Thank you.

Dune bashing/BBQ

Our Driver was great (forget his name), but we did our trip on 5/July.
Gave us a little commentary en route.

After the dune bashing, the stop off prior to our bbq was a little disappointing as you are not told how much the ‘extras’ will cost (quad biking, holding an eagle etc)

To ride a quad was 300 dirhams, which is quite expensive for a 20 minute ride.

You have a traditional scarf wrapped around you head to protect your eyes?? But my husband was not told beforehand that they then ask you for 120 Dirhams AFTER you’ve completed the quad biking, photo ops.
We refused to pay for the scarf as we didn’t wish to keep the scarf and had we been told prior, my husband wouldn’t have bothered with one.

It’s the old feeling of ‘pressure’ which tarnished an enjoyable time we were having.

Our driver was good though and intervened, telling the chap we did not want the scarf & was not informed of the cost beforehand.

Many I suspect would feel pressured into paying, and if you don’t have the cash, they have a card machine!

Our driver did apologise and said that they are trying to avoid this happening.

The bbq was entertaining, especially the fire guy.
We lost all power for quite a time beforehand and at one point thought it wouldn’t go ahead as there was no way to heat food up or provide lighting.
But that was rectified.

Your sitting down on the floor on cushions for quite some time, so if you suffer with your back, consider paying for the VIP area which is serviced with a table and chair and table service.

All in all a good afternoon/evening, and worth doing.
Lots of photo opportunities too and we have some lovely pictures.
